All SFHS families will receive a tuition invoice from FACTS in early July. This invoice will include the 2008-09 tuition balance after deducting any Advance Tuition deposits, Financial Aid, and Scholarships. Annual Appeal Pledges will also be added to the invoice for those families who elected to do so by completing the appeal request form. Families must either pay their FACTS balance in full via the FACTS Management website or elect a payment plan of 2-, 4-, or 10-payments by August 1st deadline.

Please note that all other school fees will be billed and collected through the Business Office. Any questions regarding tuition payments and the FACTS program should be directed to Larry Baker in the Business Office at (630) 668-5800, x103.

Therefore, the St. Francis School Board recommended to the Administration policies concerning the amount of tuition, the manner of payment, and, in general, the development of policy in this area.

REGISTRATION
A. A one time registration fee of $150.00 is due upon initial registration of the student. THIS PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
B. An advance tuition payment of $400.00 is due with the course request form in February. THIS PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

LATE REGISTRATION
A. Families registering after July 1st shall be expected to fulfill their tuition obligation according to the tuition policy stated above.
B. Tuition for students registering on or after the first day of school shall be prorated over the number of school days they will be in attendance according to a formula established by the St. Francis Business Manager.

LATE PAYMENTS
1. It shall be the responsibility for each family to keep the St. Francis Business Manager informed of their need to make any changes in their preferred tuition payment plan or adjustments in the amount of tuition expected to be paid. Without such information, the following policy will apply when tuition payments are received late.

A. Full Payment. If payment is not received on or before August 1st, the family will be contacted within five (5) days by the St. Francis Business Manager concerning the missed payment date and alternative tuition payment options will be offered. If funds are not received according to a new agreement, all tuition payments shall be made through the FACTS Tuition Management Plan.

B. Semester Payment. If payments are not received on or before August 1st and January 15th, the family will be contacted within five (5) days by the St. Francis Business Manager concerning the missed payment date and alternative tuition payment options will be offered. If funds are not received according to a new agreement, all tuition payments shall be made through the FACTS Tuition Management Plan.

C. Monthly Payments. School families who choose the ten (10) month payment plan and miss a monthly payment due to insufficient funds will be assessed a $25.00 missed payment fee by FACTS and may incur a fee from their own financial institution. The missed payment will be reattempted by FACTS in approximately two weeks.

In addition, school families who have missed two monthly payments and have not made suitable arrangements within fourteen (14) calendar days of the second missed payment will be informed that their child(ren) will not be re-admitted to school according to the specifications of this policy.

Families failing to pay tuition according to the agreement which they have made with St. Francis High School or who have been unwilling to make suitable alternative arrangements with the St. Francis Business Manager of St. Francis High School will be informed that their child(ren) will not be readmitted to our school.
