Hobbies

Teaching Philosophy
Ms. Brady's theory is "to encourage students from all walks of life to explore and participate in some way in the Fine Arts. Theatre and music are great outlets to learn more about yourself and others. Through the study of those areas, we can grow to have a better understanding of others' differences and learn to respect who they are."

Ms. Brady is extremely excited to be able to direct "The Wiz", this year’s spring musical. The music is going to be incredible, and everyone is going to have a lot of fun. This won’t be the first time Ms. Brady has worked on "The Wiz". In 1990, at the Illinois High School Theater Festival at ISU, Ms. Brady was a member of the all-state cast.

Ms. Brady’s theater experiences have include her performances in "Threepenny Opera"," Pirates of Penzance","Sweeney Todd" (which she was nominated for the prestigious Irene Ryan Award for her portrayal of the Beggar Woman)," Magic Flute", "The Merry Wives of Windsor", and "Carmen", along with many others.

Ms Brady would like to say that she loves her Basset Hound, Sedona, and her 21 year-old cat, Sam.

Favorite Thing About St. Francis
What Ms. Brady loves about St. Francis is the great students, their amazing talent level, and the Cultural Arts Center.
